PURPOSE:To eliminate the variance of the stopping position of a moving body due to the backlash and friction between gears, by stopping the moving body at the stopping position by inverting the moving body in a selected direction after passing through the stopping position, when it is discriminated by means of a discriminating device that the driving direction of the moving body is shifted to a direction opposing to the selected direction. CONSTITUTION:When a lens moving request is generated, it is judged that whether or not initialization is made at a home position. When no initialization is made, a pulse motor 501 is moved backward and a lens appointing table moves to the position of a home sensor using a photointerruptor. When a lens is advanced, the output port of an I/O port Q103 outputs so that the lens advances in the forward direction by one step. When the lens does not move yet to the target position, the lens is returned to the previous step again and then advanced to the target position. When the lens reaches the target position as the result of this operation, lens movement completion is set. The variation of the stopping position of a control plate which is moved in accordance with the paper size of an intermediate tray can be eliminated in the same way. |
