The circuit uses a monitoring wire system with at least two lines (2a,2b;6a,6b;9a,9b) embedded in the cladding of the heating medium transport pipe (1) and coupled to a termination network (7) containing a Zener diode (8) at one end. The termination network may contain a resistance. The lines of the monitoring wire system, coupled to corresponding lines of a monitoring wire system for a different pipe at the opposite, end via a coupling element (5).
