PURPOSE:To obtain a chemical analyzing instrument which is compact and has high accuracy by providing a freely slidable sliding insertion means and reading head to plural housing chambers for chemical analytical slide so as to face each other. CONSTITUTION:The 1st incubator 10 has plural housing parts 11a...11e and houses and holds the chemical analytical slides 1a...1e thereon. The 2nd incubator 20 having a chamber 21a for housing the chemical analytical slid 2 is disposed. Both incubators 10, 20 are fixed. The slide 1 on a guide rail 50 is positioned below a nozzle 60 by the 2nd linear motor and a sample is spottedly stuck and supplied into a development layer 72 of a dry type multi-layered analytical film. The rail 50 is then moved to the empty housing chamber among the chambers 11a...11e and the slide 1 is pushed into the empty chamber 11 by a lever 53. The reading head 30 is thereafter slid by the 1st linear motor until the head exactly faces an aperture 12 for photometry, then the irradiation of irradiation light on the slide and the measurement of the optical density of the light reflected therefrom are executed. |
