PURPOSE:To output highly dense information to a plant operator by calculating a time, in which a potentially active node becomes active, from the difference between an observed value to be used and a reference value by referring the table of estimated times and displaying an expected time. CONSTITUTION:An operation processor 9 fetches primary node information regarding a node which becomes potentially active from a storage device 4 storing a cause-result tree and difference between the information and the reference value regarding the primary node from another storage device 10. Then the processor 9 fetches the value of an estimated time to the difference from a table 11 of the estimated time to the difference. Thereafter, the device 9 inserts estimated times to differences between reference values inputted from the device 10 for every primary nodes, for which abnormality causes are brought into existence, by using the table 11. In this case, the shortest time is adopted among the estimated times to each primary node and the adopted time is outputted to a display device 8 together with a potentially active message. |
