PURPOSE:To control a shutter speed and the diaphragm of an exposure optical system so that the value of a detecting means attains a prescribed value by displaying a gray scale together with the picture on a CRT display tube, photographing a gray scale part, and detecting it by development and fixation. CONSTITUTION:A gray scale is displayed together with the picture on a CRT display tube 12, and at least a gray scale part is photographed. It is developed 21 and fixed 22, and the density on a film surface is detected by a density detecting means. At least one of a shutter speed and the diaphragm diameter of an exposure optical system is controlled so that the output of this detecting means becomes a prescribed value. In such a way, the density of a gray scale image is detected by a densitometer 24, and a tube surface luminance of the CRT display tube is increased or decreased by a CRT luminance setting device 30, by which the variation of a photographing condition and the developing condition of an automatic developing machine to be used can be compensated. |
