Cable distribution cabinets are increasingly being used not only individually but arranged in rows and set up such that they are firmly connected. In order to be able to use conventional cable distribution cabinets for this purpose, it is necessary that the door of a cable distribution cabinet does not strike into the door of an adjacent cabinet during opening. The problem is solved by means of three-piece supporting arm which consists of a central piece (4), a side-wall part (5) and a door part (6). The central piece (4) is terminated at the end by bearing eyes (41, 42), in the same way the side-wall part (5) is terminated with a bearing eye (53) and the door part is terminated with a bearing eye (63). The bearing eyes (43 to 63 and 42 to 53) are connected in each case by means of bolts. This results in a double hinge which allows the door to be pulled out forwards. In the final position, the central piece (4) stops on one end (21) on the side wall (2). In this position, the door can be pivoted outwards about an axis which is formed by the bearing eyes (41, 63). The length of the central piece (4) must in this case be dimensioned such that the door end (34) cannot strike into the adjacent door (30). <IMAGE>
