A flexible container 100, Fig. 2, in which a liquid may be stored or through which a liquid may be circulated is received by a frame 80, Fig. 10 having a cross member 81 from which extends a pair of substantially parallel arm elements 82a 82b. The container comprises a pair of walls including two relative thin, generally flexible sheets of a polymeric material, a top edge, 110, a bottom edge 112, a centrally located compartment for containing said liquid, an elongated sleeve adjoining each side edge of said compartment, an inlet, 121, for introducing said liquid into said compartment and an outlet 122 for withdrawing said liquid from said compartment, each of said sleeves having an inner edge 133, 134 and an outer edge 131, 132, the straight-line distance between the outer edges of said sleeves being greater along the top edge of the container than the straight-line distance between the outer edges of said sleeves along the bottom edge of said container, so that the bottom edge is under tension when the arms 80a 80b are inserted in the sleeves. <IMAGE> |
