The invention relates to an arrangement for high-voltage generation using a split transformer in flyback-convertor switched-mode power supplies. The aim and object of the invention are to construct an arrangement for obtaining high-voltage and having a split transformer in such a manner that the disruptive residual ripple on the high voltage is reduced to a large extent with a very low material cost and such that hence no visible image disturbances occur with a large beam current. This is achieved in that an additional charging capacitor is allocated to the partial DC voltage source which is located next to the high-voltage output of the transformer, and an additional filter resistor is arranged between the high-voltage output of the transformer and the high-voltage connection of the picture tube. <IMAGE>
