The invention features an orthosis comprising a compressive knitted ventral portion (1) and two adjoining leg portions (2) also compressively knit. The ventral portion comprises, at the front, a substantially triangular region with increased resilience (4) extending between the waist and the groins, and intended, in particular during the post-partum period, to exert on the abdomen a substantially constant pressure, combined with a vascular compression on the lower members by the leg portions. The region with increased resilience can be formed by adding a piece of cloth with reinforced two-dimensional resilience, or by a knitted resilient reinforcing piece.
