What is proposed is an appliance which serves for the distribution and metering of liquid manure on arable land, meadows and pastures for agriculture. To achieve as homogeneous a distribution as possible over a width of, for example, 16 m, the liquid manure is sprayed by means of a nozzle 13 onto a vertically oriented curved baffle plate 11 and passes into an arcuate guide channel 15, from where the liquid manure is discharged laterally, but in a vertical plane (Figure 1). <IMAGE>
