This louver-type closing-and-adjusting mechanism handle has been invented and developed for glass sunroofs which are intended for subsequent installation in vehicles. The object was to provide a handle which can be adjusted vertically and removed completely (to make it possible to take out the glass pane). Furthermore, the intention was to ensure that this handle can be operated in the simplest possible way and meets the latest safety standards and that the number of parts required is relatively small. The links which are located in the handle shell are connected on the one hand to the handle and on the other hand to the bearing block. A helical toothing on their lower region, which can be engaged or disengaged by means of an operating plate, makes it possible to raise the sunroof in five steps. The upper part of the link is fastened in the bearing block and can be released by means of an actuating screw. The bearing block is firmly dowelled in/to the aluminium frame of the sunroof. The accompanying drawing shows two exemplary embodiments of the invention. It is planned to use the louver-type closing-and-adjusting mechanism handle exclusively in the sunroof sector. <IMAGE>
