Collapsible, preferably pontoon-shaped, hull with an outer skin and a tightening framework. The invention relates to a hull of the aforesaid type. The object of the invention is to design a hull which, without loose individual parts, can be spread out and folded up quickly and easily by one person, is light-weight, takes up little space, is readily transportable and its space can readily be utilised and provides the user with safety. According to the invention, all individual parts of the tightening framework, firmly connected to one another, and at least the predominant part, firmly connected like an umbrella to the outer skin, can be spread out and folded up together with the outer skin. The tightening framework consists of a port and a starboard profile frame and longitudinally adjustable bow and stern cross-connections (vessel cross-struts) which are in operative connection with longitudinal connections, for example a long variable keel strut with toggle-lever-like tightening element, as a result of which, when the outer skin is tightened in the longitudinal direction, the outer skin of the bow and stern wall is at the same time tightened in the transverse direction. <IMAGE>
