<p>A door selector for fitment to a pair of rebated doors (11, 12) to ensure that a leading door (11) closes before a trailing door (12) comprises a body (22) made in two parts (26, 27) from identical hollow metal extrusions with an abutment arm (23) secured between them, the body (22) being pivoted on a support (24). The distance by which the abutment arm (23) projects from the body (and hence the position at which the trailing door (12) is held open) is adjustable by means of a clamping screw (36) passing through a slot (39) in the arm (23) to clamp it between the body parts (26, 27). The limit of downward pivoting of the body relative to the support (24) is adjustable by a grub screw (34) acting as a stop against a stop portion (30) of the support (24). The striker arm (25) fixed on the leading door (11) raises the body (22) when door (11) is closed so permitting door (12) to close. <IMAGE></p> |
