Electrically activated deformable mirror for trimming wave front aberrations of optical beams in telescopes or laser

The electrically activated deformable mirror (1) corrects optical surface wave reflections. The mirror has a series of electrical actuators (5) which push the rear of the mirror in specific areas. The electrical current applied to the actuators follows the natural vibration mode of the mirror, so as to provide the required mirror correction.
