Field mine detecting and status indicating system

The system includes a tuneable circuit that comprises an inductance (L) and two capacitors (C1,C2) connected in parallel to the inductance terminals. For an active mine only the first capacitor (C1) is connected to the inductance thus tuning the circuit to a frequency F1. For a mine which is not activated a switch (30) connects in parallel the second capacitor to the inductance so that the circuit is tuned to a frequency F2. A detector with emission and reception coils detects separately the two frequency thus identifying the mine status.
