The invention relates to a small-calibre endoscope optics, especially for use through a trocar sleeve with an automatic spherical solenoid valve, the endoscope optics having on its distal front face a centrally arranged, continuous groove for displacement of the valve sphere. The invention is characterised in that the distal front face of the endoscope optics which preferably extends at right angles to the optical axis has a centrally arranged, continuous groove with continuously changing width and on the bottom of which the optical components are located.
