Claims for the contracting states : BE, CH, DE, FR, GB, IT, LI, LU, NL, SE N-Benzylfluorinated amides of the formula (I) (X)n -Ar-CH2 -NR1 -COR2 in which : X represents a radical chosen from among the group comprising F, CF3 , OCF3 and SCF3 , Ar represents the phenylene radical or a phenylene radical substituted by a radical chosen from among the group comprising Cl, Br, CN, NO2 , NH2 , CHO, COOH, COR and COOR, where R is an alkyl radical having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, the alkyl and alkoxy radicals having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, the phenyl radical and the phenoxy radical, R1 and R2 , which may be identical or different, each represent hydrogen or an alkyl radical having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms or a phenyl radical, it being possible for R1 and R2 to be linked to form a ring, and n is 1, 2 or 3. 1. Claims for the contracting state : AT Process for the preparation of an amide, characterised in that a compound of the formula (II) (X)n -ArH in which X represents a radical chosen from among the group comprising F, CF3 , OCF3 and SCF3 , n is 1, 2 or 3 and Ar represents a phenylene radical or a phenylene radical substituted by a radical chosen from among the group comprising Cl, Br, CN, NO2 , NH2 , CHO, COOH, COR and COOR, where R is an alkyl radical having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, the alkyl and alkoxy radicals having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, the phenyl radical and the phenoxy radical, is reacted, in the presence of hydrofluoric acid, with a compound of the formula (III) OH-CH2 -NR1 -COR2 in which R1 and R2 , which may be identical or different, represent hydrogen, an alkyl radical having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms or a phenyl radical, it being possible for R1 and R2 to be linked to form a ring. |
