The slide bearing consists of a bearing housing (1), support sleeve (2) and two separate resilient sleeve parts (3,3') which are compressed between the housing and the support sleeve. The outward edge of one sleeve part (3) contacts an end plate (4) resting against a shoulder (5). The outward edge of the sleeve part (3') is connected via an end plate (7) and pressure ring (8), to the housing by set screws (9). The support sleeve jas a curved back part, with a ridge (11) contacting flanged edges (12,13) and a sliding bush (14). In the case of excessive wear on the resilient parts, only a minimum of water ingress can occur between the ridge and the inside of the bearing housing. |
