The accessory is intended for removing animal (dog) excrement from the street. It comprises a container with an upper (6) and a lower (5) part which are hinge (7) connected whilst the upper part has a carrier handle (2). The lower part is swivelable between a closed upright position and an open position such that it can be used as a scoop. The bottom (12) of the lower part may be cylindrical and provided with a ribbed (4) surface. When closed, the two parts may releasably lock via a snap-in connection (16).
