<p>Appts. for the prepn. of medical infusion solns. e.g. for the treatment of uremia with haemofiltration or peritonal dialysis comprises the following units combined directly or indirectly: a supply container for the infusion concentrate with an outlet to a mixing vessel, the outlet supplied with an electrical pump to convey the concentrate to the mixing vessel; several liq. connections with shut-off valves operated electrically: a liq. connection for purest water obtd., e.g. by reverse osmosis, from a reservoir, which is discharged into the mixing vessel via a germ retaining sterile filter with pore size 0.2 micron; a pyrogen-retaining ultra-filter with a cut-off of 20,000 Daltons or less connected to the mixing vessel via additional shut-off valves, with a cloudy side outlet back to the mixing vessel and a pure side outlet emptying via one of the liq. connections. Pumps and instruments for measuring concn. and ratio of concentrate to pure water are provided.</p> |
