<p>Hydraulic conglomerants for petrifying residues from thermo-nuclear power stations or any other nuclear installation, are produced by (1) grinding together the principal raw materials, such as silica, lime, magnesia, alumina, iron, soda, potash, chlorides, fluorides and sulphates, to form a homogeneous paste; (2) heating the paste to combine the components; and finally, (3) cooling the product and re-grinding.</p> |
