A wireless telephone has a tape recorder for taking a memo from the caller. When the receiver is far from the main telephone, the user operates the recorder by using a remote controller without going to the main telephone personally. The remote controller consists of a FM rectifier (6), a buffer (7), a demultiplexer (22), LEDs, a multiplexer (24), and an encoder (23). The controller for recorder consists of a FM rectifier (29), a ton trap (30), a demultiplexer (42), a decoder (41), a multiplexer (43), and an adder (35).
