Pressure and temp. differences in a heat pump, cooling plant or low temp. distillation plant are used by having a component rotating at high angular speed so that a flow is caused to pass through an inlet arrangement and then out through an outlet. The flow current, because of vacuum in the inlet arrangement and directed impulses at the outlet, causes the formation of a potential vortex. The arising pressure and temp. differences between the centre or axis of the vortex and its periphery are then used by the flow current for transmitting heat and/or heat medium or cold medium. |
