The present invention relates to the suspension of cables, especially deformable cables comprising optical fibres. Such cables are very fragile since they must not exhibit a radius of curvature less than a minimum radius of curvature. The subject of the invention is principally a device for suspending and fastening the overhead cables where the cables are made to follow a chicane 100 which ensures that they are locked in place, while at the same time satisfying the minimum radius of curvature of the cable.
