The device consists of a steel strip with longitudinal slit to take the end of the press plate. The part of the strip bounding the slit at the top end is a hard-spring elastic clamping jaw. There is a counterclamp inside a longitudinal groove in the strip which can be set on an eccentric shaft extending along the device. The counterclamp consists of a clamping rod e.g. eccentric shaft (5) extending over the entire length of the device. This shaft may serve as a clamping rod.
