The container, which is preferably made of card, is used for mail, advertising material and other communications. It can be closed by means of slotting without the need for adhesive parts and, where necessary, it can be contained in existing envelopes of standard format. It consists of: - a central part (1) on which there may be printed or applied drawings/photographs and/or advertising copy; - two side parts (3, 5, 5') which can be folded in; - a top triangular part (2) which can also be folded; - a bottom part (4) which has a slit (6) cut into it, into which the top end 2 is slotted. <IMAGE>
