The heat pump system comprises a pipe circuit for heat exchange with the earth. On a time basis, the heat pump takes its heat from the building output air, and out of the ground, and/or from both sources simultaneously. - The heat pump evaporator is coupled via a pipe system to a cooling battery in the form of a fluid/air heat exchanger in the output air channel, and to a ground heat collector. Maximum energy can be recovered from the output air without the cooling battery forming frost, with the heat-carrying medium absorbing heat from the earth. The system also permits heat to be fed back to the earth which can be used as a heat store. |
