PURPOSE:To secure an ideal head touch state although a magnetic head receives the displacement in the axial core direction of a rotary drum, by reversing the voltage application direction to the electrodes at the side of an attachment part and the magnetic head in an area between the attachment part of a piezoelectric element to the rotary drum and the magnetic head. CONSTITUTION:The attachment side electrodes 18 and 18 and the magnetic head side electrodes 19 and 19 are formed on both sides of a piezoelectric substrate 15 of a piezoelectric element 13 in an area between an attachment part 16 to a rotary drum 12 and a magnetic head 14 with an insulation space 17 secured among those elements. These electrodes 18 on the upper side of the substrate 15 are connected to the electrodes 19 on the rear side of the substrate 15 by means of lead wires 20 respectively. Then the voltage application direction is reversed between electrodes 18 and 19, and therefore the bending can be set opposite to that due to the piezoelectric effects of the electrodes 19. As a result, the head 14 set at the tip of the element 13 can always be set rectangularly to a magnetic tape 11.
