INTERFERENCE WAVE ELIMINATING SYSTEM OF SATELLITE COMMUNICATION

PURPOSE:To eliminate interference without providing separately a subantenna by installing a horn for receiving interference wave from an interferring satellite at a position shifted from the center of a main reflection mirror. CONSTITUTION:A signal from a desired satellite 10 is focused at a position of a corrugated horn 21 and fed to a low noise amplifier 3 via a transmission/reception branching filter 22. On the other hand, a signal from the interferring satellite 11 is focused at a position of a horn 16, amplified at a low noise amplifier 4 and synthesized with an output of the amplifier 3 at a synthesizer 7 via an amplitude adjusting device 5 and a phase shifter 6. The interferring wave by the interferring satellite 11 is attenuated remarkably by adjusting and setting the amplitude adjusting device 5 and the phase shifter 6 so as to cancel just the component of the interference wave of the amplifier 3 appearing at the synthesizer 7. The interference wave from an interferring satellite 14 is attenuated similarly.
