发明名称 LIGHT RADIATION ELECTRON TUBE
摘要 PURPOSE:To provide high efficient light radiation by accommodating cathodes at both ends within an outer tube in which radiation gas is sealed and a mesh- shaped anode between te cathodes, and putting thermion radiated from one cathode into reciprocating oscillation. CONSTITUTION:Gas which radiates ultraviolet rays or visible rays such as mercury vapor is sealed within an outer tube 21 comprising transparent glass and fluorescent material 28 such as calcium halogenate is applied on the inner wall of the tube 21. Cathodes 22 and 23 whose at least one is electron radiation cathode are arranged at both ends of the tube and a mesh-shaped anode is arranged between the cathodes to form a light radiation electron tube. DC voltage is applied across anode 24 and cathodes 22 and 23 and theroion generated in the cathode 22 in accelerated and passed through the anode 24 to be decelerated and again accelerated in opposite direction to repeat reciprocating oscillation. Thereby, probability of collision to fluorescent material is increased and high efficient light radiation is provided.
