PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for key operation before copying operation starts and re-set the number of copies to be taken by deciding that a key input generated within an expected time is one copy quantity setting input, and deciding on a new setting input after the expected time. CONSTITUTION:When copying operation is not started with a copying operation start key 17, it is checked whether copy quantity setting data as the 1st figure is inputted with a copy quantity setting key 16 or not. A user sets a copy quantity by operating the key 16 before operating the key 17. When a numeral as the 1st figure is inputted with the key 16, a CPU11 decides on the operation state of a timer 18 and also stores the 1st-figure numeral in an ROM simultaneously to display it on a display device 19. When setting data is inputted with the key 16 after the expected time of the timer 18, copy quantity setting operation is repeated. |
