PURPOSE:To evaluate satisfactorily the actuation of a space diversity receiver by varying the phase and the amplitude of two path and obtaining equivalently the fading in a reception mode of the space diversity. CONSTITUTION:The output of a modulation signal generator MD is divided into two parts by a hybrid circuit H1. At the same time the signal applied to a delay line DL is set correspondent to the signal of a space diversity system, and this output signal is divided into two parts by a hybrid H4. When these divided signals pass through phase shifters PH1 and PH2 and attenuators AT1 and AT2, a signal underwent the variation of its phase and amplitude is obtained. Then the 1st and 2nd signals D1 and D2 are synthesized independently by synthesizing hybrids H2 and H3 respectively. Thus a reflected wave and a direct wave are synthesized, and also a signal underwent the fading is obtained. This state can be varied while grasping two systems, and therefore it is possible to obtain a signal suited for evaluation of actuation of a space diversity receiver. |
