ULTRA PURE TETRACHLOROETHYLENE DIELECTRIC FLUID

摘要

Novel transformers contain a dielectric fluid consisting of tetrachloroethylene contg. less than 100 ppm halohydrocarbons. Pref. the fluid contains 30-100 ppm oxidation inhibitor, esp. a substd. phenol. Pref. it contains up to 80 vol.% diluent, esp. mineral oil or silicone oil. The diluent is esp. at 20-80 vol.%. The fluids are free of polychlorinated biphenyls but have the same properties of good resistance to burning, wide temp. range of fluidity, cheapness and good electrical insulating characteristics while being environmentally acceptable.
