PURPOSE:To ensure a stable and assured contact with a main magnetic pole from the inner to outer circumferences of a disk by forming the auxiliary head surface opposite to the disk so that a gap is varied along the direction of a revolving shift of the disk and setting the main and auxiliary magnetic poles as opposed to each other at the position where the additional pressure is increased. CONSTITUTION:A main head 5 has a main head groove 5b cut in the direction vertical to the revolving shift direction of a disk 1 on the face opposed to the disk 1. While an auxiliary head 6 has a slope on the face opposed to the disk 1. The gap between the head 6 and the disk 1 is small at the front side of the revolving shift direction and large at the rear side respectively. A sloping surface is formed to the head 6 together with a main magnetic pole 5a and an auxiliary magnetic pole 6a set as opposed to each other. Therefore the disk 1 is pressed to the main magnetic pole 5 with the maximum additional pressure. This aditional pressure is proportional to the length l of the head 6, and this length lis set at a larger value.
