PURPOSE:To perform striped painting in multiple colors with one unit of device by providing plural projecting lines on an engraving roll and disposing plural feed rolls and regulating rolls in accordance with the projecting lines. CONSTITUTION:Plural pieces of feed rolls 6 which serve as pick-up rolls 6 are integrally to the same revolving shaft 8 and are dipped in the paints 5 of different colors in respectively independent paint pans 10. Plural projecting lines 1 are provided on the outside circumference of an engraving roll 2 and the lines contact, one to one, with the rolls 6. Plural pieces of regulating rolls 7 are integrally provided to the same revolving shaft 9 and are disposed oppositely, one to one, to the rolls 6 with the rolls 2 positioned in the upper part on the opposite side. The excess paints sticking on the outside circumference of the rolls 6 are thus removed between the rolls 6 and the rolls 7 and are supplied to the lines 1 of the roll 2 in adequate thickness state so that the paints are coated in stripes on a base material 4.
