PURPOSE:To improve washing efficiency by constructing a primary washing tank and a secondary washing tank and using the overflow water from the secondary washing tank for the primary washing water. CONSTITUTION:A washing device comprises a primary washing tank 1 wherein settled sands, etc. are washed primarily with the waste water from the secondary washing tank 2, and a secondary washing tank 2 constructed in series to the primary washing tank 1, wherein the settled sands, etc. washed primarily in the primary washing tank and discharged therefrom are washed secondarily with clean water. A rotary shaft 5 is provided to the center of curvature of the semicircle of the primary washing tank 1 being raised from the bottom of the primary washing tank 1. Plural members of blade 4... are attached and fixed to the rotary shaft 5 in the axial direction. Further, a means 16 for conveying suspended matters to the outside of the tank 2 is provided in the tank 2. The conveying means 16 comprises a screen 17 and a conveyor 18 for conveying the suspended matters.
