PURPOSE:To obtain a highly accurate piercing die for piercing a plate quickly and by small number of stages by lining a duplicating pin and transferring model fitted to a positioning hole of the transferring model with a metallizing layer and resin. CONSTITUTION:A positioning pin 31 is projected corresponding to the position that becomes a cutting edge 7 of a die 1 on the surface of a starting model 30 having the same shape with the surface of the piercing die 1. A transfer model 40 in which projection-recess relation is reverse to the surface of the model 30 is formed using a model material such as resin, etc. and pierced by a pin 31. A pin 43 for duplication having the same sectional form with a piercing punch 8 is fitted to the hole. A metallizing layer 22 is formed on the outer periphery of the pin 43 and on the surface of the model 40, and the layer 22 is lined with a resin layer 21, etc. Thus, a highly accurate piercing die 1 that pierce a plate W in cooperation with the punch 8 can be obtained quickly and by small number of processes. |
