AUTOMATIC PAINTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To stop quickly an osillating material to be coated and to enable a large amt. of continuous painting by disposing an oscillation stopper to be engaged with a hanger for suspending and conveying the material to be coated. CONSTITUTION:A material 20 to be coated is successively conveyed to a working area for painting by a conveyer 4 and when the material comes to a prescribed painting position where the material faces an automatic coater 2 attached to a manipulator, the conveyor 4 is stopped. The cylinder 22 of an oscillation stopper 26 is operated in this state to extend a piston rod 23 which in turn positions an open ring-like hand part 25 so as to enclose the hook 16 of a trolley part 15 suspending the material 20 or the engaging part between the hook 16 and the hook part 17a of a hanger 17. A lifting device 27 is actuated to slide downward the stopper 26 and to restrain the oscillating range of the hanger 17 to the width of the bore of the part 27 then the hanger 17 is inserted into a groove part 24 to stop the oscillation.
