PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which can adjust freely the opening angle and opening width of a scarfing groove by constituting the device in such a way that the oscillating angle of a freely oscillatable arm and the position of a torch support with respect to the oscillating arm are adjusted. CONSTITUTION:A holder driving motor 24 is driven while a shaft 34 is offcentered by a suitable distance (a) from the shaft 26a of a gear 26 then the gear 26 is rotated via a gear 25 by the motor 24 and a case 27 for adjusting an eccentric distance is thereby rotated integrally therewith. An oscillating arm 14 is moved via a connecting rod 31 by such rotative motion and since the shaft 34 is off-centered from the shaft 26a, the rotating motion of the case 27 is converted to the rotating motion of the arm 14 around a torch oscillating shaft 10 thereby oscillating an electrode around the shaft 10. The oscillating angle alpha of an electrode 19 is determined by the distance (a). The distance (b) between the extension line 10' of the shaft 10 and the top end of the electrode 19 is adjusted by rotating a feed screw 16 by a knob 17 and moving a torch support 15 toward the diameteral direction of the shaft 10. |
