PURPOSE:To change the ratio of fuel accumulation and obtain the optimum ratio of fuel injection by giving a rotational displacement to a control groove and adjusting the area of an opening part between a throttle groove and the control groove. CONSTITUTION:Fuel in an oil tight chamber 38 is pressurized by an accumulation piston 36 and conducted to escape to a pump chamber 10 via a throttle groove 39. When a step motor 76 is driven to rotate a control cylinder 71, the opening area of the throttle groove 39 is reduced. Thereby, the ratio of accumulation can be reduced to increase the injection ratio of a nozzle. This construction permits to obtain the optimum injection ratio in the whole operation area of an engine.
