PURPOSE:To attain forceful suction, transport and injection of granules, particles, liquid or gas by defining a large negative pressure area in an expansion chamber formed around the outer periphery of the edge opening of a transport line. CONSTITUTION:A transport line 1 has around its edge opening an expansion chamber 2 of a large capacity which defines a large negative pressure area. High pressure air is introduced through a high pressure air inlet line 3, temporarily received in a high pressure air receiving chamber 4, and then injected through a nozzle 5 formed by an annular slit between the receiving chamber 4 and the expansion chamber 2. The injection speed obtainable at the nozzle becomes locally about sound velocity, and the negative pressure prevailing in the large space area defined by the expansion chamber 2 causes ballast in a tank at the ship bottom to be forcefully sucked up through a tank drain port 9 and the transport line 1.
