PURPOSE:To enable reduction in man-hour for working and the weight of a finished product by bending the end face of a metallic pipe which is forcibly flared by using a tapered ring having a prescribed shape toward the outside circumference of the pipe by means of a movable member and fixing the same into the hole of a plate body. CONSTITUTION:A pipe fixing tool for fixing the end of a metallic pipe 2 into the hole of the body 1 consists of a movable member 21 for inserting a tapered sleeve part 21a into the pipe 2, a hard cylindrical tapered ring 22, a rod 20 and a means for varying the positional relation between the ring 22 and the member 21 by operating the rod 20. The boundary part of said member 21 with a sleeve part 21a is formed into a recessed part having a small diameter and the flaring part 21c is formed to a large diameter. The ring 22 has spring force, is formed with an annular step part 22b in the outside circumferential part on one end side and is divided to a plurality. The rod 20 is inserted into the through-hole of the member 21, is inserted into the inside of said member from the end on the step 22b side of the ring 22 and is fixed to the fixing part 22a.
