PURPOSE:To make it possible to carry out unattended service when a bankbook is no longer printable by such an arrangement wherein respective means judge that there is no space for printing and it is the last page and as a command for requesting the issuance of a bankbook is given, a new bankbook is automatically issued. CONSTITUTION:When the apparatus detects that a bankbook has been fully printed by its magnetic recording bands, it sends the book to the direction of an inserting slit 13, and as it detects a specified mark of the last page while it is being sent back, it causes a display unit 15 to display a signal for requesting the push down of a bankbook issuing button. As a customer pushes down the bankbook issuing key in a keyboard 17, a bankbook issuing unit prints the name of the customer, account No., etc. on a new bankbook and discharges it from a bankbook issuing slit 14. As the new bankbook is inserted into the inserting slit 13 again, a printer receives information from a central processing unit, prints the amount of money brought forward and data not printed yet and returns the bankbook through the inserting slit 13. By this method, unattended service can be performed when a bankbook is no longer printable and a new bankbook is prevented from being left unclaimed. |
