PURPOSE:To perform continuous and stable combustion of particulate matters containing a large amount of a moisture content, by a method wherein a floor board, having ventilating holes, and a frame wall, surrounding the floor board, are installed above an air chamber, and a filling tower with no bottom is located in the frame wall with a space provided between the floor board and the tower. CONSTITUTION:An air chamber 2, having the front which is shut-off by a shielding wall 3, is located to the lower part of a furnace body 1, and a blower 13 is connected through an air introducing hole 12, extending through a furnace wall, to the end part of the air chambe 2. A passenger room 4 with a large volume is formed above the air chamber 2, and a floor board 5 is horizontally installed in the passenger room 4 in a manner that it partitions the air chamber 2 from the passenger room 4. A filling tower 8 with no bottom, which is provided at the lower part with a stud 80 and has a portion above the stud 80 formed in the shape of a cylinder, is installed in a frame wall 7 in a manner that the tower rises from the floor board 5 with the aid of the stud 80. This enables continuous and stable complete combustion of chiefly cellulose series particulate matters containing a large amount of a moisture content through a relatively simple construction. |
