PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a driver to predict a danger on a road and to prevent traffic accident by displaying the traffic state of the road on an on-vehicle car navigation in real time. SOLUTION: An intersection CP is a blind intersection installed with no traffic signal, and a road A and a road B cross each other here. Traffic information transmitting devices 1 are installed at positions P1, P2, P3, P4 apart by 50 m, for example, from the intersection CP along the roads A, B. When a vehicle C1 is detected by the sensor of the transmitting device 1 at the position P1, a radio wave signal W1 is transmitted from the transmitting circuit of the transmitting device 1. The radio wave signal W1 is received by the car navigation of a vehicle C2, the positions of the vehicle C2 and the vehicle C1 traveling toward the intersection CP are displayed on a screen together with a road map nearby on a real-time basis, and the situation is also reported by voice, thereby the driver of the vehicle C2 can predict a danger at the intersection CP. |
