PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase distance and to prevent slice by increasing an effective hitting-point distance although a wood club head has a low center of gravity. SOLUTION: With a head main body 1 set to match a lie angle, the top borderline 4A of a crown part 4 directly opposite to a face 2 on a front view is formed to almost overlap a circle with a radius of 70 mm or less. With the head main body 1 set to match the lie angle, a value obtained by subtracting the height of the top of the crown part 4 from the height of a hosel 5 is within the range of +5 to -10 mm. The height of an intersection formed when the surface of the side 11 of a toe 7 crosses the surface of the crown part 4 with the head main body set to match the lie angle is 10 mm or more lower than the height of the top of the crown part 4.
|
