<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the functions of a sprinkler facility for a multistoried building in the event of a fire by preventing a vertical pipe leading to an alarm valve placed in a pipe space in a fire limit from being melted by heat from outside the pipe space in the event of a fire, although a synthetic-resin pipe that has problems regarding material and fire resistance is used as the vertical pipe. SOLUTION: In the structure of the floor-slab-penetrating part of a vertical pipe in a sprinkler facility for a multistoried building, a sheath pipe 11 made of steel, which has a flange part 11a formed on its outer periphery, is dropped into a through hole 12 formed in a floor slab 10 in a pipe space PS, and the flange part 11a is secured to the upper surface of. the part of the floor slab around the through hole 12. The vertical pipe 3 for the sprinkler facility is made of a synthetic resin and is passed through the sheath pipe 11, and rock wool 14 is packed between the synthetic-resin vertical pipe 3 and the sheath pipe 11.
