<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress traffic inside and outside the router having a multiplexed configuration for routing protocol processing caused by occurrence of a system change in the router having the multiplexed configuration. SOLUTION: A database integration section 17 of a path calculation unit 11a in an operating state stores network connection information collected by a routing protocol packet transmission reception section 14 to a link state database 22 and informs a path calculation unit 11b in a standby state of the storing but other collected routing protocol information is not noticed. The database integration section 17 receiving the notice of the network connection information stores the contents to its own link state database 22. On occurrence of a fault in the path calculation unit 11a in the operating state, the path calculation unit 11b in the standby state uses the stored link state database 22 to conduct routing protocol processing.</p> |
