<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable receivers different in multicast session to secure resources having different request quality parameters in a resource resources protocol (RSVP) by mapping the multicast of an internet protocol (IP) and an integrated service through an asynchronous transferring mode (ATM). SOLUTION: A method for mapping the IP multicast and the integrated service are mapped on an ATM network is established and a network architecture is constituted. This method is based on a multi-switch to allow an IP/RSV application to execute at an ATM host participate in an internet-wide multicast session in a seamless state. In addition, in order to support features such as the heterogeneity of a receiver, the route designation of short cut and scaling force, the performance is utilized well through ATM.</p> |
