PURPOSE:To prevent multiple transfer images from shifting of overlapping without making a constitution complex nor large in size by adjusting the angle of a mirror for exposure according to the position of a transfer or photosensitive drum when a scanning system reaches a specific position, and changing an exposure position. CONSTITUTION:An original is scanned by a scanning system 4 to execute an exposure scanning, but when a transfer drum 13 rotates prior to the start of the original scan, a photosensor 20 turns on and a control part 36 starts counting a pulse signal; and a photosensor 9 turns on when a specified distance is scanned by the scanning system 4 to allow the control part 36 to finishes the counting the pulse signal, and its counted value (n) is compared with a predetermined value N to output a control signal based upon the judgement of the comparison result. This control signal is sent to a stepping motor 33, and a mirror 4e is displaced clockwise or counterclockwise by an angle theta to correct the excessive advance or delay of the scanning, preventing an image from shifting in position. |
